As I'm sure a few of you have noticed, I've spent the last few months clawing at the front door of the local Subaru dealer, waiting anxiously for the 2015 WRX I had ordered to come in. Well! It finally arrived and now that it's properly labelled, I figured it was time for an introduction.
Ignore the general saltiness, I had a good 12 hours of ownership to slather it in wax and sealant before it became completely salt encrusted for the next 4 months, upstate NY roads can be a bitch. It's a bit too early in the break-in period to really weight in on the power but even under 3K rpms it still feels like a freight train pulling. The turbo spool is very audible which is awesome. Its been a huge step up from the NA Legacy in terms of sophistication and technology, I don't have any pictures handy of the interior but it's really well appointed for the price point.
Unfortunately I did have to trade in the Legacy, she'll be dearly missed.

Are you going to equip this new one with rally lights?

Way up in the tippy toppy by Canada, in Ogdensburg haha. And thanks, I'm quite pleased with how everything came together too. It's almost going to be a shame to get back on the stock wheels once summer rolls around.

Yup, I wasn't entirely sure how good it would look compared to the WRB but I really think there's a lot more depth that plays well with the weird lines of the '15.

I'm honestly not sure how I like them with the blue yet, the red looked awesome on the white Legacy though and I'm too cheap to get a black set.

I've been debating that actually, unfortunately the radiator bracket that I used on the Legacy's mount it too different to adapt and there doesn't seem to be any other easily accessible mounting points without cutting things up. I might do a stealth mounted LED bar but I really do love the loud round rally light look...

I'm thinking about it! How has the ST held up as a new car, is it rattle-city now?

It holds up pretty well actually! The only rattle is in the dashboard somewhere that I can't seem to locate, but other than that it's been great.

I don't know if I could ever put them on my LGT even if the snow buildup does get annoying.

Congrats on the ride, however, where are the gold wheels?
If this was addressed in your post, sorry, I commented before I read it.

As far as I know only the Launch Edition STi came with the gold BBSs, the regular WRX comes with pretty mediocre looking gun metal wheels. If you meant the Sparcos, I only got the white Terras over the gold ones only because the gold was out of stock until Christmas ha.

I like the white, to be honest. After taking a good look at it, I really dig the white wheels on red mudflaps.

Looking good...I see I'm not the only one in ny with the white sparco terra/red mudflap combo!
